About an hour later I finally gave up on sleep and headed to my computer to check e-mails. As I fired up my machine I thought about how grouchy I have been lately…….more than usual anyway. A few e-mails down and I was out the door to run over to the pool for early morning masters. My normal mojo just wasn’t there, on the run and as I started to warm up in the pool I was sluggish.
Oh man...Have I been there...and only wish I had know more of the signs like you saw. Instead it took absolute failure to realize it. It took a review of some of my training logs to realize it. And it luckily took a second view of some video I took during the training year to realize it. Overtraining is so easy to do, and get lost in. Good for you that you were able to recognize it sooner rather than later.

I think we can all recall at least once, if not more, the times we should have just stayed in bed and not trained.

Thanks Craig for sharing your own experiences...I think sometimes we as your athletes look up to you as superman...but hey, superman slept too, right?

Tomorrow's another day.

Often times coach training programs inform you the theory and modify the power but leave you ornamentation when it comes to business development. Make sure your training information offers some training business building and marketing skills too. Nice post and thanks for commenting.

Hey man. Hope you are doing well. Called your parents house over the break to see how you were doing. I hope all is well. Email me back at randy@randy-craig.com. If that doesnt work, email hanmdyc7@gmail.com. I got some new music coming out and i wanted you to be one of the first to hear it since you were an inspirational peer and friend to keep doing this. I hope your family and expecting child is doing well.
